Dog Grooming and Bathing

In most cases following surgery, dogs are prohibited from going to a groomer because of restrictions that are placed to protect the surgical repair. Bathing is also prohibited because of the same restrictions. At ARC we have a walk in shower that accommodates all sizes of dogs, with protective non slip flooring allowing us to provide a safe and often much needed bath. Walking and or standing aides are often employed for patients who are not able to stand long enough for a bath or grooming. Afterwards patients can relax on padded mats while being brushed, massaged and blow dried. Nail trims can also be done and often help to improve mobility. For our patients who require a professional groom, we employ the services of Kelly McKenzie and David Kent of Mr.Paws Grooming Salon. Patients are groomed one at a time with two groomers per patient taking extra time and care to ensure your pets safety. Professional grooms are by appointment only.
